of machined casting and unmachined carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy
and duplex stainless steel castings. We specialise in Pressure Containing

Amex Alloys is promoted by a team of experienced professionals. We have a state of the art ISO 9001
facility with high efficiency medium frequency induction furnaces situated in Coimbatore, the foundry
capital of India. With the
dedicated team of staffs & the state-of art infrastructure, Amex
Alloys has grown as the "Best Foundry"

Infrastructure
Our foundry has the state-of-art infrastucture.
- We have a hand-molding (silica sand) shop with a high level of molding technology, sand mixers, and sand testing equipment to ensure the best possible surface quality
- Our heat treatments facilities for normalizing, quenching and tempering, stress relieving, include ceramic fibre lined & temperature controlled electric and oil fired heat treatment furnaces
- Our equipment for non-destructive testing use state-of-the-art technology and performed by highly trained ASNT/ISNT level II specialist staff
- Our full fledged fettling and finishing comprises of shot blasting, welding rectifiers, high speed grinders and abrasive cut off tools to ensure optimum finish and quality
- Our physical testing equipment include a 40 Ton Universal Testing Machine with extenso-meter, calibrated as per ISO:7500-1 / IS 1828-1, in presence of TUV, 300 Joules Impact Machine calibrated as per EN10045-2, KB3000H Brinell Hardness testing machine & KV-50 Vickers hardness testing machine
- Our chemical testing facility is equipped with a next generation SpectroLab 32 channel optical emission spectrometer with ultra low nitrogen 0.0005% onwards and provisioning for oxygen. We also have arrangements for Radiographic testing, Magnetic particle testing, Ultrasonic testing and Dye penetrant testing in addition to Visual Inspection and Dimensional accuracy testing stations
